"Mmmmmm". I moan as I roll over in my bed skins. I roll too hard though because next thing I know.. KAPLOONK.. On the floor..
Sigh. I lay there for a minute or two. Feeling the sun seep through the windows and find my face. The rays of sunlight tickling my face with that warm, fuzzy feeling. I can tell it is REALLY late since the sun is so hot on my face. Normally Cake would have woken me by now.. I wonder why she hasn't. I open my eyes to the piercing sunlight and blink a few times to adjust to the brightness. After I stretch and yawn, I look around to Cake's drawer, realising she isn't there. Looking down at myself, I'm in my shorts and singlet, time to get dressed. I run to the bathroom and strip. Peeling the clothes off of me as the air shifts and gets cooler as my skin is exposed.
"Ahh, that's nice". I mumble as the hot water of the shower hits me full blast. Lifting my head into the spray of heat I run my hand through my super long hair.
"Maybe time for a haircut soon.. Speaking of hair... CAAAKEEE!?
I wait for a few seconds, no response... Huh.. That's weird...
After a couple more minutes in the shower I get out and brush my teeth and my hair. Feeling clean enough, I skip into my room and chuck my daily wear on. Thigh-high white stockings lined with two thin blue lines. My small black Mary Jane shoes, the navy blue pencil skirt and a three quarter length light blue tank top. Never forgetting my signature bunny hat. After throwing on my adventuring bag I look around, checking for Cake once more.
"Huh... maybe she's downstairs?
And with that I jump downstairs and run into the kitchen. Empty. Lounge room? Empty too. Where on Aaa is Cake??
I sigh deeply and trudge over to the freezer hoping to find...
'YES! BACON PANCAKES!!! SCORE". I scoff them down hungrily, as if I hadn't eaten in weeks. Reality being I ate so much last night we almost ran out of food. After shoving the last bite down my throat I do a few push ups and warm ups to get my body ready for the long day of adventuring ahead. Something in the back of my brain guts is telling me I'm forgetting something. I let it go.
"Alright, lets get going".
And with that I open the door. Running straight into two hands that reach for my neck.
